Background

Every day, FRAMO produces unique or small-batch furniture with a high level of customization: choice of materials, specific dimensions, and tailor-made integration. This requirement calls for rigorous monitoring, from design to packaging, in order to optimize lead times, anticipate the necessary resources, and guarantee consistent quality.

Precise control of the time spent on each piece is therefore essential to reconcile artisanal flexibility with industrial efficiency.

With FABRICUBE, FRAMO has implemented a minimalist, customized time tracking system, designed in collaboration with its teams. The interface is simple and streamlined, designed for immediate user adoption.
Ultra-simple widgets: scan QR codes on production sheets to record the start and end of operations.

Implementation:

An intern from the École supérieure Bois in Biel supported the project by analyzing the ideal implementation and functionality of FABRICUBE at FRAMO. This helped to formalize business requirements while structuring the step-by-step approach.
