As Visval didn’t have the necessary Rockwell skills, we looked for a partner to outsource the automation part of our systems. After consulting a number of suppliers, our choice fell fairly easily on Icube. Based in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, but close to the German-speaking part, Icube is resolutely international and multilingual. We entrusted them with the conversion of the Siemens program to Rockwell and the manufacture of the PLC boards for this project. Icube was quickly able to assimilate the subtleties of our SoliValve\u00ae technology and understand the finer points of the program. An additional layer of safety (emergency stop management) was added to the program.<\/p>\n After a few validation sessions with Visval, the new program driving the various peripherals was ready to be implemented at a first customer.<\/p>\n Icube then went to the Pharma customer’s site to accompany Visval during commissioning.<\/p>\n In this context, the powder dispenser was controlled by a Pharma MES (Manufacturing Execution System), so Icube carried out the integration between the dispenser and the customer’s MES for complete integration of the product into the production chain.<\/p>\n
